Imperfect Woodland on a Foggy Morning

A vast green moss-covered woodland would be wonderful but that doesn't mean that there isn't beauty in one that's seen too much pollution and destruction once the destructors are finally gone. Now the woods can breathe again without being suffocated by the residue of burning fuel oil just because it was cheaper, and people are lazy, greedy and stupid. No more deals for politicians here only recovery. Now each year brings something new. The dense fog smells clean. I don't have to see soot coating the landscape and there's new growth. There's beauty in its imperfection. There's hope within its sparseness. There's a rainbow of color in the mists.
